Job Descriptions:
- Monitor and review drawings for approval to ensure alignment with the construction plan.
- Prepare plans and proceed with material approvals according to the project schedule.
- Track monthly cost reports from the QS (Quantity Surveying) department.
- Verify material quantities from the QS BOQ (Bill of Quantities) before ordering.
- Prepare VO (Variation Order) documents for additional or reduced items.
- Reallocate the project budget internally to issue PR/PO (Purchase Requisitions/Purchase Orders).
- Create presentations and weekly reports, and document meeting minutes.
- Update project tracking lists for reference and utilization.
- Review information for consistency with construction drawings and report any conflicts.
- Assist in creating and storing RFA (Request for Approval) and RFI (Request for Information) plans and ensure adherence to the project’s quality plan.
- Review procurement and contracting agreements and issue letters to protect the client’s contractual rights.
- Develop a procurement plan and oversee the completion of the contracting process.
- Control approval authorities for CM360, NAV, and other systems.
- Prepare project billing documents with the owner or bank alongside relevant parties.
- Issue notices to contractors, summarize corrective expenses by plot and contractor, and provide evidence for invoicing or retention deductions if contractors fail to perform.
- Perform other assigned duties.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering (B.Eng.), Architecture (B.Arch.), or related fields.
- Have at least 1 year of experience in construction project work.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Possess communication skills and the ability to negotiate with contractors.
- Detail-oriented and accurate.
- Able to work well under pressure.
